Ronald George WHITTLESTON was born in Victoria Park, Perth, WA on 29th March, 1924

His parents were George John Vincent WHITTLESTON & Violet May CHRISTIE who married in East Perth in 1923

He married Marjorie Jean SUTHERLAND in Victoria in 1947 - two children Deanne & Brent (Sam)

He served during WW2 in the Army (SN W56233) and was discharged on 16th June 1943 as a Private with 110 Australian General Hospital & then re-enlisted in the RAAF (SN 441267) and was discharged on 18th March, 1946 - Warrant Officer - 9 Aircrew Holding Unit

Ronald died in Gracewood Nursing Home in Salter Point, WA on 6th October, 2021 at the age of 97 years and was cremated at Karrakatta Cemetery
