Add my storyBiography contributed by Stephen Brooks
Numerous witnesses to his wounding near Villers Bretonneux, hit in the head by a shrapnel from a high explosive shell and died a few hours later in a nearby dressing station. A very popular officer, well thought of by all witnesses, described as a very tall man, around 6 foot 2 inches and very game.
His Mum and Dad farmed at "Nyora" about 20 kilometres west of Oaklands NSW.
