Doris was the daughter of George Caleb Rudge and Marion Rudge nee Hedditch.
Doris enlisted as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 22.5.1917 and saw service in Salonika and England. Promoted to Sister 12.7.1919. Discharged 5.4.1920. Medals: British War Medal and Victory Medal.
Doris passed away on 23.2.1982. She is remembered at Cornelian Bay Cemetery And Crematorium.
