Son
My name is Raymond James (Jim) Kersting and was born to Doris Elsie and Raymond Kersting in January of 1949.
My father shared a story with me just before he died about his service in Rabaul where he had to take the life of a young Japanese soldier, this led to his smoking and eventually caused lung cancer that took his life at age 71. I miss my dad and regret not having more time to spend with him to know and share more stories.
Much respect for him.
