Born 241 Auburn Rd, Auburn to William Henry Ashleigh Trimmer and Elizabeth Jane nee Moxon 29 August 1924. Trained as an Electro-plater.
Served in 2/27 Australian Infantry Btn in New Guinea and Balikapapan, Borneo during WW2 returning home 13 February 1946. Married Alice Frances Louise Starr 10 April 1953 and had three children while residing in Bain Pl Dundas Valley.He died in Dundas Valley and was cremated at Macquarie Park Cemetery
