Full name William Robert Osmond but served at William Osmond.

Brother of Alfred Arthur Osmond who returned to Australia on 19 December 1918 having served with the 4th Battalion

Husband of Clara May Osmond nee Carroll of Burlenson Street, Ultimo, NSW. William and Clara married during 1909c in Waterloo, NSW

Commenced return to Australia on 14 January 1919 aboard HT City of York disembarking on 21 February  1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
