Biography contributed by Barker Gary

After his second discharge Lindsay Poke, in the mid 1950s, was allocated a post WW2 farm (Koreen) as a soldier settler in the Egg Lagoon area (Scott and Mansons Road) , King Island Tasmania. The family eventually had a clearing sale on the farm in late 1973 and retired to the Tasmanian mainland.
