Biography

"...2219 Private Roy Davidson of Eden, NSW. A labourer before enlisting in June 1915, Pte Davidson served with the 1st Battalion on the Western Front, and was reported missing at Pozieres sometime between the 22 and 25 July 1916. Pte Davidson's remains were never found, however it is believed that he was killed by a shell alongside two other members of the battalion." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
