Sapper Terence Patrick Kennedy (Service No:W43632) enlisted in the ACMF on 3 February 1942 and was attached to 55 Light Battery RAA when he was Discharged on 15 May 1944.
Born in 1900 in Albany WA, Terence was the fourth of nine children of Matthew Kennedy (b1860 in Tipperary, Ireland) and Lily Teresa Fisher (b1872 in Perth, WA). Matthew (a Labourer) and Lily married in 1892 at Torbay nr Albany, WA where they settled and raised their family.
Terence worked as a Tailor in Albany and in 1922 at Katanning married Florence Sydney Strettell (b1903 in LAncashire, WA) - Florence immigrated in 1906, arriving in Fremantle on board the Oruba. Terence and Florence settled in Albany where Ternece was a Tailor. Florence died in 1959 and Terence in 1981.
