Son of Francis Henry RUTLEDGE, of Yamburgan, Dirranbandi, Qld.
Confirmation has been received that Trooper Thomas Richard (Dick) Rutledge, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Rutledge, of Yamburgan Station, had been killed in action in Palestine on April 19. The late Trooper Rutledge, who was only 23 years of age, had been at the front for some time. He was attached to the Fifth LIght Horse. Two other brothers, Laurie and Brian Rutledge are also with the Light Horse, while the only other son, Mr. Stephen Rutledge is supervising work on his father's station.
