Son of Louis Victorsen and Catherine Victorsen nee Solomon of Clare, SA.

Brother of Louis Charles Victorsen who returned to Australia on 29 August 1919 having served with the 5th Pioneer Battalion and Albert Joseph Victorsen who returned to Australia on 19 June 1916 having served with the 3rd Field Company Engineers

Commenced return to Australia on 2 January 1919 aboard HT Berrima disembarking on 15 February 1919

On 25 September 1926 Talbot married Vera Emily Clara Schroeder in the Methodist Church, Pirie Street, Adelaide
