Son of Patrick Quinn and Mary Quinn nee Kelly of Kyneton, Victoria.

Next of kin given as John McPartland of Boxwood via Goorambat, Victoria.

Husband of Annie Amelia Martha Quinn nee Davis of Fordington, Doschester, England. Joseph and Annie were married on 20 July 1918 in the Dorchester Registry Office, England. The Registrar A.G. Bawler officiiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 6 September 1919 aboard HT Berrima disembarking on 2 November 1919
