Private Trevor Joseph Heazlewood (Service No:TX12465) initially enlisted in the ACMF (11 February 1942 - 25 November 1942) and was a Driver with 9 Australian Vehicle Collection Centre (AVCC) and Bulk Issue Petrol and Oil Depot (BIPOD). He enlisted in the AIF on 26 November 1942 and served in Katherine with BIPOD NT Force (12 March 1945 - 18 September 1945). Private Heazlewood was attached to 1 BIPOD 77 Platoon when he was Discharged on 6 November 1945.

Born in 1921 at Ulverstone Tasmania, Trevor was the second of five chlldren of Edwin Arthur Heazlewood (b1895 in Ulverstone, Tasmania) and Alice Pearl Pearce (b1897 in Ulverstone, Tasmania). Edwin had enlisted in the AIF (Private; Service No:T4268) but was Discharged as Medically Unfit. Edwin (a Farm Labourer) and Alice married in 1918 in Ulverstone, Tasmania and lived in Upper Castra where Edwin was a Farm Labourer until the early 1920's. The family then lived at Table Cape where Edwin was a Lorry Driver and in Kentish in the 1930s where Edwin was a Motor Driver. By the 1940's the family was settled at Scottsdale where Edwin worked as a Linesman.

Trevor worked in Scottsdale as a Railway Porter for Tasmanian Government Railways (TGR) before enlisting in the Army. Following his Discharge, in 1948 Trevor married Joan Audrey Gill (b1924 in Scottsdale, Tasmania) in Ringarooma and undertook training as a Linesman. Trevor and Joan lived at Moonah and Scottsdale where Trevor worked as a Linesman. Trevor died in 1972 and Joan in 2015.
