Personal Stories
his family
Bruce was 4th child of Constance Simms (1882-1929) and Walter John Cale who were married 1910 Rydal, NSW. They moved to Perth, W.A. Their first son Frank/Francis b. 1914 flew for the RAF and was killed in the Battle of Britain 1940. I believe Bruce served as a "commando". He took over a hotel at Helena Vale after his father, and died 1993 Perth.
