Chelsea I am one of Cliff Nelsons grandsons - Kym Nelson (oldest son of Ken who was the youngest of the 3 boys) . His father was Alfred Nelson. Like you project I could add some more to it....

Clifford Augustine Nelson was born in Henley Beach, Australia and grew up in the Maylands, Norwood and St Peters area. Nelson was 18 and a half when he enlisted in the war and did so on the permission of A. Nelson, presumably his mother.
Nelson embarked from Adelaide on the HMAT Kanowna on the 23rd June, 1915. Nelson was assigned to the 27th Infantry Battalion.
Nelson returned from war and married Ruby Pearl Nelson (nee Barr). Together they had three children: Ken, Peter and John.
