Son of the late John WOODS and Catherine Elizabeth SCOTT fmly WOODS nee O'KEEFE, Cloncurry, Queensland
Husband of Oliver Gertrude WOODS nee RODD
There passed away in the Diamantina Hospital, Brisbane, recently, William Woods, a native of Cloncurry. Deceased was born here some fifty years ago, his father with the late "Scotty" Weir, building the first Post Office Hotel, his mother being of the O'Keefe family, also very old residents of Cloncurry. The deceased visited Cloncurry last year and sought medical, attention. He was advised to go to Townsville and from there went to Brisbane, and passed away as stated. He was a returned soldier having seen long service on Gallipoli and in Palestine with the Light horse.

Admitted to Dunwich Benevolent Asylum on 20th January 1938 with Skin Cancer.
