Son of Samson SILBERBERG (SILVER) and Fanny nee LENCZNER
Jack was a teacher and enlisted in January 1942 at Bondi in the 21 Labour Company and then the 20th Australian Employment Company. In 1943 he was admitted to hospital with schizophrenia and discharged as medically unfit in November.
Jack spent many subsequent years in hospitals in Brisbane, Callan park Sydney and Bloomfield, Orange where he died on 28 August 1994 aged 77 years.
