DEAR IS THE MEMORY HE LEFT BEHIND OF A NOBLE SON AND BROTHER KIND

Eight cousins and a foster brother served in the war.

An impressive service was conducted by the Rev. W. Huey Steele in St. Columba's Presbyterian Church, Cottesloe, yesterday morning, when Major General Sir Talbot Hobbs unveiled a tablet perpetuating the memory of the late Bevil Edwards, who was killed in action at the age of 18 years. The tablet, which is handsomely designed in brass, and is mounted upon' marble. was placed in the church by the parents of the soldier, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Edwards, of Cottesloe. Subsequent to the ceremony Sir Talbot Hobbs delivered an address dealing mainly with thie epic landing at Gallipoli' The choir  sang anthems appropriate to the occasion.
