the 5th son of Henry and Victoria Davies. Born in Swan Hill, his dad was a dairy farmer and returned WW1 veteran. Young Frank cant wait to join his older brothers. He has his 18th Birthday in New Guinea . Posted to 2 Docs Coy,he is trained up. He grades up as a hatchman and wenchman by the end of 1944. He was promoted to Sargeant in 1946. He went on to play country Aussie Rules becoming captain and coach . His team Kyabram were Premiers in 1950. Uncle Frank married Evelyn in 1947. They had 4 children . We honour you Frank for serving your country as you were very proud of your large family war effort. Uncle Frand died in Shepparton aged nearly 93. RIP
