Date unknown:	Honoured Military Medal, Mouquet Farm, "During 3rd. & 4th. sept. near Mouquet Farm, this man carried several important messages between 49.Bn. front line-Quarry-52.Bn. front line & 50.Bn. Head Quarters. most of these tasks were carried out under heavy shell fire. he works painedly over these long distances, never stopping to take cover no matter how severe the enemy's fire. he further did more useful work guiding supports to the front line, when reinforcements were required."
