Colin Alexander Campbell

Colin was the third of eight children of Colin Campbell (born 1855 in Scotland) and Catherine Wilson (born 1861 in Ireland). Colin Snr and Catherine married in 1886 in Maryborough, QLD and lived in Maryborough and Bundaberg before settling in Cordalba, Childers QLD where Colin Snr worked as Overseer at Knockroe Plantation.
Colin worked as a Blacksmith in Richmond QLD before enlisting in August 1915 with the AIF. He was a Private (Service No: 2609) with 6th Reinforcements 26th Battalion when he died on board the Seang Bee in November 1915
