My Dad was a gentle, conservative, family man  who worked in the bank 9-5 to become the Senior Staff Officer before retiring a couple of years early due to health issues. He came home to a dedicated wife and helped to bring up 4 kids. Loved his Craven A cigarettes, a bottle of beer, and barracking for Claremont in the WAFL. A top schoolboy sportsman, especially swimming, at Guidlford Grammar School, he attended to the house and garden maintenance in Goldsmith Rd Claremont before moving to a unit in Bayview Tce Claremont then finally into a retirement village in Hollywood.
