Private Thomas Raymond Pearce (Service No:W22268) served in the ACMF with 3rd Field Regiment (Baking Platoon) and 11 Field Bakery from 5 August 1941, and was attached to 35 Field Baking Platoon at Discharge on 13 February 1946.

Ray was born in Wagin, WA in 1915, eldest of four children of Frederick John Pearce (b1882 in Melbourne, Victoria) and his second wife Alice Lavinia Shutter (b1881 in Angle Vale, South Australia). Frederick was a Farmer in Sunshine, Wagin, WA in 1914 when he and Amelia married in Enfield, South Australia. They settled in Sunshine where they raised their family and Frederick was a Farmer.

Ray was a Farmer in Sunshine, and in the late 1950s married Agnes (Nancy) Cairney Lawson (b1919 in Lanarkshire, Scotland) - Nancy was a Shop Assistant when she immigrated in 1950, arriving in Fremantle WA on board the Cameronia. Ray and Nancy settled in Sunshine where they raised their family and Ray was a Farmer. Ray died in 1975 and Nancy in 2009.
