Cyrus David BROSIE was born in Singleton, NSW in 1896

His parents were David John BROSIE & Barbara nee BROSIE

He enlisted with the 17th Infantry Battalion on 23rd July, 1917 and embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Euripides with the 21st reinforcements on 31st October, 1917

He died of wounds in France on 22nd May, 1918 and is buried in the Vignacourt British Cemetery
