Constance was the daughter of John William Russell and Mary Russell nee Murphy.
Married Richard James Adams in 1920.
Constance enlisted as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 28.5.1917 and embarked on 12.6.1927 in Melbourne per “Mooltan”. She saw service in Salonika and returned to Australia on 30.8.1918 per “Wiltshire” on duty. Resigned appointment 18.10.1918.
