Enlisted and served under alias Thomas Glynn
On 2 February 1917 Thomas signed a Statuatory Declaration stating that his name was Thomas Richard Johnston and that he had enlisted under the alias of Thomas Glynn
Son of John Holmes Glynn and Eva Alice Glynn of Newtown, NSW formerly of Forbes NSW and Catlemaine, Victoria. Brother of Andrew Johnston of East Kew, Victoria who was later named next of kin
Commenced return to Australia aboard HT Burma on 26 July 1919 disembarking at Melbourne on 29 August 1919
