Husband of Barbarat MOFFITT nee McLAREN
He was 19 and a half when he enlisted and flew with 625 Squadron. He was a highly intelligent man and it seemed unusual that he held a fairly mundane clerical job in our accounts department. Word was, that having piloted Lancasters over Europe he wanted nothing to do with responsibility.
