Henry was the second of seven children of Henry Patrick Beeson (b1889 in Greenough, WA) and Evelyn Louisa Fickling (b1898 in Pinjarra, WA). Henry Snr (a Labourer) and Evelyn married in 1919 in Perth WA. Henry Snr had returned from service in WWI (Private; Service No:6287) and was a Labourer at Moonyoonooka, WA. Henry Snr and Evelyn lived in Yandanooka and Moonyoonooka WA where Henry was a Farmer and Farm Labourer before moving into Mingenew where Henry worked as a Carrier until his death in 1938.

Henry worked as a Labourer in Mingenew WA, and in July 1941 enlisted in the ACMF (Private; Service No:W20291). He was attached to 10 Garrison Battalion VDC in July 1944 when he Discharged to enlist in the AIF (Service No:WX41616). Henry served with 3 Corps Provost and 67 Infantry Battalion in New Guinea (27 November 1944 - 7 July 1945) and Japan (BCOF; 39 March 1946 - 13 August 1947) as an A/Corporal. He was Discharged in August 1947. 

Henry was working as a Labourer in Perth WA in 1949 when he married Ivy June Parke (b1931 in Collie, WA) in Bunbury WA. The couple settled in Perth where Henry worked as a Truck Driver and Mechanic. He died in 1968 and Ivy in 2021.
