"...8A Private William Bailey, 31st Battalion, of Beulah, Vic. Pte Bailey enlisted on 9 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Wandilla on 9 November 1915. He also served with the 8th Brigade Headquarters. He was killed in action on 25 October 1916 in France." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
