    There appears to be a variation in his date of birth. When enlisting he gave his as over 37 months which made is birth year as 1880c but on another page he gave his birth date as 31 January 1886 and on another page he gave 31 October 1887.

    Son of Mary McFarlane formerly O'Brien of Rosser Street, Rozelle, NSW.
