21 December 1915 - Admitted to No 8 Australian Field Ambulance, Serapeum, (stiff leg);

22 December 1915 - Discharged from 8 Field Ambulance

23 January 1916 - Charged with neglect of duty and Found guilty, penised with extra duties

22 March 1916 - Charged with loitering on Post and neglect of duty. Found guilty awarded extra guards.

20 April 1916 - Found guilty, 1 May 1916, of being absent from Church Parade:  2 days' confined to barracks.

16 June 1916 - Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force

23 June 1916 - Disembarked Marseilles, France

7 July 1916 - Found guilty of being absent from Tattoo Roll Call on 6 July 1916: awarded 24 hours' Field Punishment No 2.
