How Sooma finished the Japanese in New Guinea

Sooma used to tell us:-

"The day I stepped ashore at Port Moresby the Japanese packed it in in New Guinea. Brothers Bill 2/43rd and Barney 2/16th were already there so I could only put it down to the fact Japs reckoned they could handle 2 Mitchells but not 3 of them"
