Bruce was the son of Alex William Wallace and Ellen Gourley.
He married Annie Evelyn (Nancy) Bunn on 20 October 1938.
Bruce and Nancy had two sons and two daughters.
In 1968 they were living at Brandy Creek Road, Warragul.
