Corporal Robert Anthony Crisp (Service No:VX66053) enlisted in the Australian Army on 15 November 1941. He was attached to 19 Australian Lines of Communications Signals when he Discharged on 12 February 1947. 

Born in 1922 at Bacchus Marsh in Victoria, Robert was the youngest of three childron of Anthony George Crisp (b1873 in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria) and Harriet Theodosia Crook (b1885 at St Arnaud, Victoria). Anthony (a Printer) and Harriet married in 1907 in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria where they settled and raised their family. 

In 1948 Robert married Barbara Eggington (b1921 in Yorkshire, England) in Manjimup WA. Barbara had emigrated with her parents and siblings in 1924, arriving in Fremantle WA on board the Esperance Bay. Barbara worked as a Shop Assistant in Deanmill via Manjimup WA and had served in the Australian Army Medical Women's Service (Service Nos:WF53456/WFX40021).

Robert and Barbara settled at Scarborough in Perth WA where Robert was a Carpenter. Barbara died in 2004 and Robert in 2010.
