Service in military
Tom served a a Gunner in Papua New Guinea. He suffered mental anguish as did everyone. There wasn’t any physiological help in those days for traumatised returned service men. My Dad was his much younger brother, who absolutely heroised his brother. And learnt to deal with Tom’s nightmares, and was always there for him.
He later married & raised a beautiful family of three daughters and one son.
