Daughter of William Herbert CHERRY and Emma Jane nee KING
Trained 3 years Adelaide General Hosptial
Served in Salonika and contracted Dysentery in June 1918 and was invalided to Australia 03 October 1918 per “Wiltshire”
She volunteered to nurse Influenza in WA, transport by rail 28 December 1918
Returned to Adelaide 04 September 1919 per “Takeda” from WA
Appointment terminated 01 November 1919
In the 1920s she was appointed as an industrial nurse at Myers in Rundle Street, Adelaide. Here she remained for 23 years, as the nurse to provide care for staff and customers.
Enid did not marry.
