The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 130 to 135, 204 and 264. Prior to the war he was an engine driver of Boulder WA. He enlisted 2nd Mar 1915 aged 26 years. He survived with the 28th Infantry Battalion. During the war he was promoted to Lieutenant. He survived the war and departed the UK for home 21 Mar 1919.
