1 Apr 1943: Transferred Australian Military Forces (WW2) , Sergeant, 1st Parachute Battalion , Accepted into the 1st Australian Parachute Battalion in approximately April 1943. Trained at Richmond and Scheyville in NSW. Training continued at Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands until the end of 1943. The Unit did not see action.
