Commenced return to Australia on 5 September 1919 aboard HT Plassy disembarking on 31 October 1919 

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal. He was ruled not eligbel for the 1914-15 Star as he had deserted and did not proceed overseas in 1914 or 1915
