Private Terence Conway (Service No:W49793) enlisted in the ACMF on 5 February 1942 and was attached to 7 Australian Supply Depot Coy AASC when he was Discharged on 29 November 1945.

Born in Boulder Kalgoorlie WA in 1912, Terence was the fourth of six children of Patrick Joseph Conway (b1876 in County Kerry, Ireland) and Johanna Burk (b1881 in Victoria). Patrick and Johanna married in 1889 in Victoria and by the early 1900s had settled in the WA Goldfields. Patrick was a Miner at Boulder, Kalgoorlie WA where he and Johanna raised their family. Following Patrick's death in 1918, Johanna remarried and remained in Boulder.

Terence workked as a Greengrocer and Shopkeeper in Boulder and in 1937 in Albany WA he married Linda Gertrude McGlade (b1917 in Albany, WA). Terence and Linda were divorced in the late 1940s - Linda returned to Albany WA where she was a Textile Worker and remarried. Terence remained in Boulder where he worked as a Prospector until his death in 1976.
