Clement Cook Junction FREARSON was born on 13th September, 1899 in Unley, Adelaide, South Australia

His parents were Septimus FREARSON and Emma Martha SMITh

He was still serving in the Dowering Light Horse in Western Australia when he enlisted for WW1 on 24th March, 1916 in Perth, WA as a Private with the 44th Infantry Battalion, D Company (11th Infantry Battalion) he left with the 1st Reinforcements which embarked from Fremantle, WA on the HMAT Suevic on 6th June, 1916

He was promoted to Lance Corporal on 27th January, 1917 and then to Corporal on 11th April, 1917 & served on the Western Front.  He was posted as Missing in Action on 4th June, 1917, but after a court of enquiry was found to be Killed in Action with shell wounds to his right side - he has no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial, the Australian National Memorial, Villers Bretonneux and the Roll of Honour in Western Australia - he was awarded the British War Medal & the Victory Medal.
