BUSH TRAGEDY.
A tragedy is reported from Dingo Creek, 10 miles from Longreach (Q.). A. Nicholson, manager of the stock department of Edkins Marsh, Company, was on a visit to Strathdarr. He left there by car to Longreach. He was later discovered lying near the motor car with a wound in the head and a large revolver lying near the body. Deceased leaves a widow and child. He served through the war, earning the rank of Captain.
An enquiry was commenced before Mr. R. Curits, P.M., into the circumstances surrounding the death of Arthur Nicholson who was found dead on the Strathdarr road. Only two witnesses were examined, and they could throw no light on the matter, only they looked upon the occurrence as a case of suidide. There are several other witnesses to be examined yet.
