Son of John Richard and Harriet WELLS
Mr. and Mrs. J. Wells, of Rouse Hill, have received word that their youngest son, Private Charles Hasting Wells, died of wounds on April 22. He was 20 years of age and left here in July, 1916 with the 4th reinforcements of the 53rd Battalion,. He was employed at Schofield's Siding sawmills prior to enlistment.
