1905 Matriculation pass
1906 Public Service of Queensland. Became Assistant CPS at Townsville.
9/9/1909 Joined A.G.A.

Kennedy Regiment
As CQMS 1st A.G.A. was mobilised for service on 4/8/1914 at Townsville.
Left Townsville for Thursday Island per "SS Kanowa" on 8/8/1914. Arrived 11/8/1914.
Received notification of appointment as 2/Lieut. 1st AASC CMF and detailed for duty at Supply Depot on 13/11/1914.
Took over duties of Supply Officer from Capt A.E. Herte as from 23/11/1914.
Left Thursday Island on 25/3/1915 under demobilisation orders (No 3).
