A man of many talents
Victor Stanly NEWELL, also know as Stan these days but in his younger days he was known as Tex, an aspiring tattoo artist, one of the first to own a tattoo parlour in Melbourne Victoria and winning a prize for his artwork of a tiger tattooed on the back of a man which made the newspaper.
Stan is the proud father of 2 children, Paul and Helyn. He was a loving father and husband, who worked all his life to provide care for his family.
He was proud of his service in the Australian Military and speaks of those he served with fondly, one of his fondest memories at the age of 104 years old.
He has lived during some of the most difficult times our country has faced and yet is one of the most positive and happy go lucky man you will ever meet. He has lived such an enriched life and doesn’t regret a second of his life.
He is someone who truely deserves to always be remembered for his contribution to this country and he like many others who put their lives on the line so we can remain a free country deserve to be remembered for generations to come.
