PRIVATE E. R. CHECKLEY.
Private I. R. Checkley (wounded) is the sixth son of Mr. L. A. Checkley, of Burwood and is 19 years of age. Prior to enlisting he was employed at the State Brickworks at Homebush. He was also a scholar of the Burwood Congregational Church and enlisted with the 1st Battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade.
