Son of Edwin Ernest Moore and Laura (nee Smith) Moore. Brother of Ernest Percy Neville Moore, Isabella Laura Moore, Ida Regina Moore, Mabel Jane Moore, William Geoerge Moore and Clarence Moore,

On the 24 August 1914 Arthur married Alice Bradbrook at her family home in Port Wakefield
