Daughter of Herbert Semmens Annie Amelia Semmens nee Boucher of 102 Howard Street, Ballarat, Victoria.
Sister of Percy Thomas Boucher Semmens, Annie Isabella Sarah Semmens, Sydney Peter Semmens, Ida Blanche Semmens and Herbert James Semmens who was killed in action on 13 October 1917 and has no known grave. His name appears on the Menin Gate, Ypres
Commenced return to Australia on 23 March 1919 aboard SS Czar then transhipped to HS Dongala at Alexandria eventually disembarking on the 16 May 1919 at Melbourne
