Private William McGregor Moore 2108 received: British War Medal, Victory Medal. He served on the Western Front; Messines, Belgium where he was killed in action. He was 24 years old. Witnesses saw his body before a shell landed nearby. William McGregor Moore is one of the 6,178 Australians who have no known grave.
