Archibald was charged with assault in 1903 his photo can description to match that of his record at time of enlistment match. Prison record can be seen on the Tasmanian Linc family names index. Whilst not to judge Archibald paid the ultimate price in the theatre of war at Ypres for King and Country.
He came from a large family, parents were Henry and Margaret Jones.
